Scripture: John 2:5-11

"His mother said to the servants, 'Do whatever he tells you.'" -John 2:5

Have you ever had a direct encounter with an ambassador of God? Someone whose life and words testify that God is with them and that the word of God in their mouth is true? These encounters are precious and can be life-changing if we respond to them with faith and obedience.

In John 2:5-11, we read about the wedding at Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle. His mother, Mary, recognized the authority and power in Jesus and instructed the servants to do whatever he told them. This simple act of obedience turned an ordinary wedding into an extraordinary display of God's glory.

When we encounter God through his ambassadors, whether it be through a pastor, a mentor, a friend, or even through the reading of his Word, we must pay attention and respond in faith. It is in these moments that God desires to pour out his blessings upon us.

The key to turning encounters with God into amazing blessings lies in our willingness to obey without hesitation. Mary didn't argue with Jesus or question his instructions; she simply told the servants to do whatever he said. And as a result, the water turned into the finest wine, surpassing everyone's expectations.

Similarly, when we encounter God's word or receive a message from his ambassadors, we must not argue or doubt, but rather, we should act immediately in faith. It is through our obedience that God releases his anointing blessings upon us.

Sometimes, the instructions we receive may not make sense to us or may seem impossible to accomplish. But remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). Trust that he knows what is best for you and that his plans are always for your good.

So, the next time you have an encounter with God through his ambassadors, remember Mary's words: "Do whatever he tells you." Trust in his wisdom and authority, and act in faith without hesitation. As you do so, you will witness the transformation of ordinary situations into extraordinary blessings.

Prayer:Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the encounters we have with you through your ambassadors. Help us to recognize your presence and authority in their lives. Give us the faith and obedience to act immediately on your word, knowing that your plans for us are good. May we experience the amazing blessings that come from turning encounters with you into acts of faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
