Scripture: John 2:1-12

Today, I want to remind you of the incredible power of wise invitation and the amazing blessings that can flow from it. In John 2:1-12, we witness Jesus and His disciples being invited to a wedding celebration. Little did the hosts know that this simple act of invitation would lead to a miraculous transformation and an outpouring of blessings.


As we reflect on this passage, let us draw valuable lessons that we can apply to our own lives and ministry. Just as the hosts invited Jesus and His disciples to their celebration, we too need to invite God and His people into every aspect of our lives. When we extend an invitation to God, we open the door for His divine intervention and blessings to flow.

Prayer Points:

  1. Heavenly Father, we invite You into every event and issue of our lives. May Your presence be felt and Your wisdom guide us.
  2. Lord, help us to recognize the importance of inviting Your people into our lives. Surround us with godly support and wise counsel.
  3. Holy Spirit, reveal to us any areas where we have neglected to invite You and Your people. Give us the courage to open our hearts and extend invitations.

Points to Remember:

  1. Inviting God and His people into our lives is an act of faith and humility. It acknowledges our need for divine intervention and support.
  2. When we invite God, we invite His blessings. Just as Jesus turned water into wine, He can transform our situations and bring forth miracles.
  3. Inviting God's people into our lives provides us with a network of support and encouragement. We are not meant to navigate life's challenges alone.
  4. Remember that an invitation to God and His people is not a one-time event. It is a continuous act of surrender and dependence on Him.


As members of God's Reigning Kings ministry, let us be intentional about inviting God and His people into every aspect of our lives. May we experience the amazing blessings that come from wise invitation, just as the hosts of the wedding celebration did. Remember, when we invite God, His presence and power are unleashed, transforming our lives and circumstances.
